It is not only about looks
Proper trimming is good for the plant. Crowded growth cuts airflow and creates cover for disease and pests. The right cuts open a shrub up, clear out dead wood, and push healthy new growth so plantings live longer.
That is why we use the correct technique for each plant type instead of running a hedge trimmer across everything at the same height.
Before and after the trim
We walk the planting before picking up any tool. Some shrubs are borderline dead in the center but still look thick from the outside. We check what is actually alive before deciding how much to take. Cutting too deep into dead wood rarely fixes a struggling plant, and it is easy to make a bad situation worse with an aggressive pass. If a shrub is too far gone to be worth saving, we tell you that honestly so you can make a decision rather than paying for a haircut on a plant that is already finished.
After trimming, we clean up every clipping from the lawn and beds and haul them away. You are left with sharp, shaped plantings and a clean property underneath, with the beds looking better than they did when we arrived. No piles of branches stacked at the curb, no clippings pushed into the lawn to turn brown and mat down.
